VirulenceFinder

Virulence gene annotation

About

VirulenceFinderarrow-up-right is software maintained by the Centre for Genomic Epidemiology for the identification of virulence gene markers in pathogenic bacterial genomes.

Method

For the specified species an appropriate database is selected from those in the virulencefinder_db repositoryarrow-up-right. These are used to search the query genome using BLAST and complete matches reported. For full details see the VirulenceFinder software repositoryarrow-up-right.
