Searching genomes in a collection

The Search-and-filter Bar ("search in all columns") allows you to select genomes according to their attributes in the Data Tables, including by typing assignments or antimicrobial resistance.
Typing in the bar will filter the data across all columns in the metadata. If any row contains the typed value in any column, then that genome will remain visible on all panels. If something is typed here that is not reflected in any of the columns of a genome row, then that genome gets filtered out and hidden from the panels.
Clicking the 'E' icon toggles exact matching on/off. By default, partial matches to the term are included, e.g. '1.2' will match '1.2.3' in the metadata.
The number (e.g. "21 of 162") on the right side of the bar reflects how many genomes are showing (e.g. 21) and how many genomes there are in total (162) in the unfiltered metadata file.
Note that in some cases, there may be tree settings filtering your data behind-the-scenes, even after using "Reset Tree Filter" or "Reset All Filters". To reset the tree, right-click on the tree panel whitespace and select "Redraw original tree".
The easiest way to reset filters and get back to visualising the full dataset is to click on the filter icon in the Search (Filter) bar and select "Reset All Filters"
