You can only delete , , , or if you are the owner.

Saved searches cannot be restored once deleted. Genomes can only be restored if deleted as a folder, not if deleted individually.

Deleting genomes using the Genome Browser

Individually-deleted genomes cannot be restored. To delete genomes by moving them to a restorable bin, delete them by.

To individually delete genomes: On either the Genomes page or a Folder view, you wish to delete. Click the "Selected genomes" button in the top right, double-check that you have selected only the genomes you wish to delete, and then click the "bin" icon in the bottom left of the box. A confirmation dialog will pop up, letting you know that this action cannot be undone.

Deleting Saved Searches

Saved searches cannot be restored once deleted.

Deleting a saved search does not delete genomes or collections.

Deleting Folders or Collections

Deleting a folder deletes all genomes within the folder, by moving them to the bin.

Restoring deleted collections or folders

A thirty day grace period is provided before genomes are fully removed from your account. During this time you can access the binned genomes via the "hamburger" menu icon in the top left of the page. Select the relevant "Bin" to open the Bin and see its contents.

When hovering over a Saved Search card on the page, a delete icon button is shown at the bottom right corner. Clicking on the delete icon button shows a confirmation basic dialog.

When hovering over a card on the Folders or Collections pages, a trash bin icon appears at the bottom right corner. Clicking on this icon brings up a "Move to bin?" dialog to confirm that you want to delete. Note that Folders and Collections can be from the bin within 30 days.
