The Interactive Collection View's URL is permanent, even if the owner changes the title text. You can bookmark it and return later. If you are signed in and create a Collection, it will be saved to your account.

The "Interactive Collection View" consists of several interrelated components, along with a header row containing links to the home page and a "Downloads" button in the top right.

- A mutation distance based tree or network showing the relationships between the selected genomes, visualised using .

Users with some initiatives have additional features:

- A global map showing the locations of genomes that have geospatial metadata.

- Tables displaying all uploaded metadata (user-supplied data), calculated typing assignments (such as and ) and antimicrobial resistance predictions.

- A timeline bar chart of all user-supplied sample dates for the genomes in the collection.

- a type-in field allowing the selection or finding of genomes by searching the metadata fields.

Clicking on the genome name in a table brings up the .

- a cgMLST-based method of finding similar genomes to those in your Collection
